Step 1 — Set up your dice tray/phone platform

We recommend doing this first — it will be difficult to get the app to work without it. Here's what you'll need:

  1. An unopened soda can — used to prop your phone above the tray. The extra weight keeps it from tipping over.
  2. A dice tray Download and build ours, or use any flat-bottomed tray roughly 3.5″ × 2.5″: PDF (paper tray)  ·  STL (3D print)

Make sure to place this in a comfortable / in-reach location on your desk, then move onto Step 2.
